AMERICAN legend Greg Hancock will be guest of honour at Leicester’s opening meeting of the season on Thursday evening.
And he will be available to meet supporters for autographs and photographs between 6.15pm and 6.45pm just inside the main entrance.
The four-time World Champion is in the UK at the beginning of the campaign supporting fellow countryman Luke Becker who has joined the Watling JCB Lions for 2024.
Hancock won the sport’s top prize back in 1997 and then uniquely took his second title with a 14-year gap – before enjoying further successes in 2014 and 2016.
Only three riders in the history of the sport – Tony Rickardsson, Ivan Mauger and Ove Fundin – have been crowned World Champion on more than four occasions, with Hancock one of four riders who stands as a quadruple champion.
Hancock will be present at the Pidcock Motorcycles Arena, Beaumont Park to take in the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership clash King’s Lynn.
Fans can meet him between 6.15pm-6.45pm at the side of the supporters’ club area just after entry to the stadium.
