LEICESTER are back in WSRA National Development League action on Wednesday when they make the trip to King’s Lynn.
The meeting at the Adrian Flux Arena gets underway at the earlier time of 7pm as it is the first half of a double header which also features the Young Stars taking on Middlesbrough.
The Lion Cubs are looking to bounce back from a heavy defeat at Edinburgh last Friday, with runners-up position in the NDL now the most likely target to chase.
Freddy Hodder and Ryan Ingram both return to the side after missing the match at Armadale due to Championship play-off commitments, but Max Perry has been ruled out on medical grounds. Ashton Vale comes in to replace him.
The meeting was originally postponed earlier in the summer due to staff shortages at King’s Lynn, and the Young Stars now track a strong top order for this meeting.
They have brought in former Lions rider Dan Gilkes as he works his way back to fitness, and youngster Ollie Binns is also recently back from an injury absence.
*The Lion Cubs are also in action at Middlesbrough on Friday, but the scheduled trip to Buxton on Sunday (September 20) has been postponed due to rider unavailability. A new date is to be confirmed.
