DAN Thompson and Drew Kemp will be Leicester’s two representatives in Saturday’s Cab Direct British Final at Belle Vue (7pm).
Lions fans not attending the meeting at the National Speedway Stadium can keep a check on all the action live on ITV4 and ITVX from 7pm.
Thompson’s Premiership average from the 2025 season saw him secure an automatic seeded place in the event, whilst Kemp battled through the semi-final at the Hydroscand Arena.
Both riders enter the meeting in good form with Thompson seeking to build on an impressive seventh place finish last year, whilst Kemp reeled off a run of race wins in the Watling JCB Lions’ impressive victory over Sheffield on Thursday.
The man to beat is likely to be World title contender Robert Lambert who defends the trophy, whilst amongst the youngsters looking to make an impression in the meeting are former Lion Cubs rider Cooper Rushen, and Will Cairns, son of Lions owner Paul.
