LEICESTER will be holding a collection for seriously injured former Lion Cubs racer Connor Coles at this Thursday's home match against King's Lynn.
Connor remains in hospital following a crash at Buxton last month which left him with head injuries, and there has been a huge outpouring from the speedway community to assist him, his wife Kirsty and their two daughters.
He was a big part of the Lion Cubs' success in the 2022 season, when they won the NDL league and KO Cup double, and was often used as a guest either by Leicester or opposing teams.
