LEICESTER Lion Cubs will open their season with a busy month of April with track action on each Sunday of that month.
The Lion Cubs will stage press and practice on Sunday April 5 before hosting NDL newcomers Buxton in the first leg of a challenge match a week later on April 12.
The league opener comes up at home to Middlesbrough on April 19 before the Lion Cubs head back to Buxton for the second leg of their challenge on April 26.
The first away league match is at King’s Lynn on Wednesday May 20, and the season concludes with back-to-back home matches against the Young Stars and then Edinburgh in early September.
The club will also be staging the British Under-21 semi-final, with the date for this meeting expected to be confirmed in the near future.
