LEICESTER are devastated to report that the Hydroscand Arena, Beaumont Park has been the subject of two serious attacks of vandalism this week.
Significant damage has been incurred at the venue just weeks before the start of the new speedway season.
Track equipment and perimeter fencing have been badly damaged, and this leaves the club facing substantial and unexpected repair costs as well as a race against time to be ready for racing.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help support the club with the financial impact caused by the damage.
Any support from the speedway community and beyond would be greatly appreciated as we work to repair the stadium and ensure everything is in place for the start of the season.
