SWEDISH superstar Fredrik Lindgren has joined the line-up for the Ryan Douglas Testimonial meeting at Leicester on Saturday March 22 (4pm).
The former World No.2 is a legend of Douglas’s previous top-flight club Wolverhampton, and he also had a stint with Midlands rivals Birmingham last year.
Douglas said: “It’s awesome to have Fast Freddie in my meeting. He’s one of the best riders in the world, and is a consistent performer.
“With him being a Wolverhampton legend, I’m sure the Wolves fans will look forward to seeing him in my Testimonial.”
Another name added to the field is Edinburgh’s Kye Thomson, a long-standing friend of Douglas who will be looking to impress as he chases a Premiership place in future.
Douglas said: “Kye is a family friend and has made steady progress in the UK. I managed to do a few days of practicing with him this summer and tried to give him some advice on where he can look to improve.
“He’s really taken it on board, so it will be a good opportunity for him to test himself against this level of riders and try to push for a Premiership spot this season.
