LEICESTER would like to thank Tom Spencer for his service to the Lion Cubs and wish him well for the future.
Spencer has been part of league title successes for the Lion Cubs in both 2022 and 2024 during a four-year stint at Beaumont Park, which also saw him take on the vice-captain’s role over the last couple of seasons.
Over that time he increased his National Development League average from 3.80 to 7.22, and that has meant he has secured a full-time Championship opportunity for the first time with Redcar.
He will also be racing for the Middlesbrough Tigers in the NDL at the ECCO Arena.
Thanks to Tom for all his efforts for the Lion Cubs and he will always be welcome back at Beaumont Park.
Team building for the Lion Cubs’ 2025 line-up has progressed well and we look forward to sharing news of the riders over the coming days.
