LEICESTER’S Rising Star Sam Hagon won the NDL Individual event at his home Championship track of Poole on Wednesday.
Hagon defeated Jake Mulford in a run-off after both riders finished on 14 points at Wimborne Road.
Lion Cubs captain Joe Thompson also finished on the podium in third place after scoring 12.
Elsewhere Vinnie Foord kept up his great form by winning his first three rides before a crash his last outing wrecked his hopes of a top three place.
Foord finished on ten whilst Sonny Springer also impressed with two late race wins for a total of eight. Max James scored two, having suffered a couple of falls.
There will be another meeting in the National League Riders’ Development Series, all of which are stand-alone events, at Leicester on Sunday August 4.
