LEICESTER welcome back Szymon Wozniak ahead of their local derby clash with Coventry at Beaumont Park on Monday.
Wozniak has been out of Elite League action for a month after issues with his Polish club, but he returns for the Lions for the meeting which gets underway at the earlier time of 6.30pm.
The Bees are chasing back-to-back away wins as they look to make more ground on the play-offs, and bring in Carl Wilkinson to replace Josh Bates who is out with concussion.
Leicester boss Norrie Allan said: “Coventry’s win at King’s Lynn has given the club a fighting chance of moving to the edge of the play-offs if they can gain another four match points at our expense.
“Our luck has surely got to change for the better and with Szymon Wozniak returning it has given the team just the boost we need ahead of the local derby.”
Coventry manager Gary Havelock said: “We certainly need to be on our guard. We can’t just go there thinking ‘Leicester are bottom of the league and we’ve just won at King’s Lynn, so we’re going to win there as well.’
“It’s a new meeting against seven new riders, and we’ve got to start again from scratch with the same attitude and fight. If we fight like we did at King’s Lynn, there’s no reason why we can’t get something out of the meeting.”
