LIONS V BELLE VUE, PREVIEW

LEICESTER can make it three meetings unbeaten at home when they host Belle Vue on Saturday (7.30).

The Watling JCB Lions have been much more satisfied at Beaumont Park in recent weeks, recording a draw against Poole and a second home victory of the season over Somerset last weekend.

Boss Jim Lynch says he has been encouraged by his side's last few performances and is anticipating another thriller against the Aces.

"Belle Vue is a great fixture, even if they have got a couple of guests, but sometimes that doesn't do as much harm as you'd think," said Lynch.

"It should be a great speedway meeting - especially with our track getting better and better all the time.

"We feel very confident around our place at the moment and we'd love to get another win."

The Lions are expected to welcome back entertains reserve Danny Ayres who has missed the last couple of meetings through injury.

Belle Vue will be without Craig Cook and Max Fricke who are both competing in the Speedway Grand Prix qualifying round in Italy and have drafted in Nick Morris and Josh Grajczonek as guests.

LEICESTER: Kim Nilsson, Erik Riss, Jason Garrity, Lasse Bjerre, Danny King, Josh Bates, Danny Ayres

BELLE VUE: Nick Morris, Steve Worrall, Josh Grajczonek, Justin Sedgmen, Kenneth Bjerre, Dan Bewley, Jack Smith.
