LEICESTER co-promoter Damien Bates hopes a big crowd can roar them to victory in front of the BT Sport cameras as they host Swindon on Monday (7.30).
The Watling JCB Lions are desperate to climb the SGB Premiership table heading into the second half of the season.
They hand a debut to big name new signing Pawel Przedpelski as they aim to get back to winning ways after four straight defeats as the Robins visit Beaumont Park.
Przedpelski will meet fans from 6pm – 6.30 for a signing and picture session and there’s face painting for the kids.
With admission prices slashed to just £9.99 for adults and all under 18s free, Bates has urged people of Leicester to back their side.
“We can’t wait for it,” Bates said. “It’s a shame Jason Doyle isn’t riding for Swindon because he’s a former Leicester rider and one of the best riders in the world at the moment, but they’ve still got some strong riders in their side with Troy Batchelor in as a guest.
“Obviously we’ve reduced admission which is a big incentive, and we’ve got Pawel Przedpelski making his debut and meeting with supporters beforehand which is a big draw.
“We basically just want people to come down and soak it up. The weather is looking good and the atmosphere should be great.
“Whether you’ve been to speedway or not before, come down to get involved and enjoy what should be a fantastic evening of racing.”
