LEICESTER’S Richard Lawson is a confirmed starter for the 2024 Attis Insurance Sports Division British Final at Belle Vue on June 8.
Lawson, whose best result in the national championship was runner-up in the Covid-hit season of 2020, is part of a strong field which includes Grand Prix trio Dan Bewley, Robert Lambert and Tai Woffinden.
Meanwhile Drew Kemp is listed as a reserve and could come into contention if any of the field is forced to withdraw before the event.
Not only is the British title itself at stake, there is also the Wild Card place for the British Grand Prix at Cardiff to be allocated to the highest-placed non-GP regular in the meeting.
The full riding order draw will be made live on Eurosport on Monday (May 27) during their coverage of the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership clash between Leicester and Oxford.
