LIONS REVEAL STADIUM REBRAND

LEICESTER have secured a new two-year renaming rights deal which will see them race home meetings at the Paul Chapman and Sons Arena.

Their Beaumont Park base will now take on a new name thanks to the support of the family run business, who are one of the largest crushing and screening companies in the country.

After spending the last two seasons supporting the Lions, they will now step up their involvement and Managing Director Paul Chapman is delighted to take the opportunity.

Chapman said: “We originally came on board as the team sponsor in 2016 and last year we supported the Lions in various other different ways.

“We can see the effort that is going on behind the scenes to make the club a success and when the opportunity arose to further increase our involvement it just seemed a natural step to take.”

Meanwhile, co-promoter Dave Darcy added: “We are delighted to be partnering with Paul Chapman and Sons.

“The company has been one of the key pillars of support and Paul is so keen to play a part in helping us transform the Lions into a club that is considered to be serious challengers for honours.”

The first meeting at the re-branded Paul Chapman and Sons Arena will take place when Leicester host a Somerset side led by World Champion Jason Doyle in a challenge match on Monday, March 26 (7.30).

They will then head to Swindon three days later for the first SGB Premiership meeting of the campaign.
