POLISH sensation Krystian Pieszczek has made a flying visit to new club Leicester.
Pieszczek, part of the same stable as 2010 World Champion Tomasz Gollob, was keen to travel to ensure he has machinery readily available in the UK.
And he took time out to visit Beaumont Park, now known as the Paul Chapman and Sons Arena, to weigh up his new home track.
Pieszczek said: “I am very happy and honoured to play my part for Leicester this season.
“I hope to fulfil the goals set by the management and hopefully my results will help the team reach the play-offs.”
Pieszczek makes his Watling JCB Lions debut on Monday March 26 when they face World Champion Jason Doyle and his Somerset Rebels in an opening night challenge.
Boss Simon Stead said: “He’s keen and ready to go and the fact that he’s paid a visit to Leicester underlines how keen he is to ensure everything is set up right for him.”
