BRILLIANT British youngster Robert Lambert has been booked as a star guest for Leicester on Monday.
Norfolk racer Lambert, a member of last season’s Great Britain World Cup side, stands in for injured Slovakian star Martin Vaculik in the Premiership clash with Somerset at the Paul Chapman and Sons Arena, Beaumont Park.
Watling JCB Lions boss Simon Stead said: “Robert is a terrific talent and we’re pleased to have him in the side for Monday.
“We are all saddened by Martin’s injury and we are hoping he will recover quickly, but in the meantime we will do the very best we can.”
The rider replacement facility will operate for Michael Palm Toft who suffered a sprained ankle in the same race at Swindon on Thursday.
