LEICESTER Lions fans’ favourite Kauko Nieminen will make a special visit to Monday’s Premiership clash with Belle Vue at the Paul Chapman and Sons Arena.
Nieminen is visiting friends on a trip over from Finland and has been invited to the meeting as guests of the club.
He will be available to meet fans, sign autographs and have pictures at the entrance to the stadium.
Watling JCB Lions co-promoter Neil Machin said: “Kauko was popular everywhere he rode and particularly with the Leicester fans.
“He met up with Alan Jones and was naturally invited to come along as our guest on Monday. He’s looking forward to meeting the Leicester fans once again.”
The club have also confirmed they will be staging their Speedway Riders’ Benevolent Fund collection on Monday and fans are asked to donate as much as their circumstances allow.
