GENEROUS speedway fans dug deep to raise an impressive £1,215.99 during Leicester's Premiership clash with Belle Vue on Monday.
Riders from both sides went into the crowd to collect vital cash for the charity which raises money for injured and disabled riders.
Leicester Speedway would like to thank Belle Vue for their help and support with the collection.
Co-promoter Neil Machin said: "This is a wonderful total and we thank everyone for their donation to the Benevolent Fund.
"Every track stages a collection throughout the season and we are very pleased with the total raised, I am sure the Ben Fund officials will be very impressed."
