LEICESTER’s Ryan Douglas managed six points in the opening round of the 2019 Australian Championships.
After a difficult start in Gillman, the 25-year-old reeled off three straight second places in an event won by Belle Vue captain Max Fricke.
The second round takes place at Mildura this Saturday (January 5).
