It is all systems go for the British Speedway opener on Sunday at Leicester, the tenth Ben Fund Bonanza, start time 2pm.
The track has been in tip-top condition this week and while it is possible that Saturday will be wet, the forecast for Sunday is much better and track expert Stewart Dickson and his team are standing by to ensure that the riders will have a fine race strip for the event.
There is one further late change in the field which sees Leicester’s Josh Bates come in for Jason Garrity. It’s tough to pick a winner and three riders will be trying to emulate Craig Cook to become two-time Bonanza Champions, these being Nick Morris, Richard Lawson and Ben Barker.
Gates open at midday and the support events start shortly after that.
