LEICESTER Speedway are revving up for a massive Easter weekend.
The Watling JCB Lions can win their group in the Championship Shield and they face rivals Sheffield at the Paul Chapman and Sons Arena, Beaumont Sports Complex, on Saturday (7.30).
But they are also on the road to Redcar on Friday before heading to Sheffield on Sunday.
Boss Stewart Dickson said: "Weekends don't come much bigger than this and with the support of our fans we can get the results we need.
"With all due respect, this club hasn't had successful teams in recent seasons but I believe we are strong and powerful this time and for once the people of Leicester and surrounding areas have a team to be proud of.
"We need their support on Saturday night, we want to see the place packed because we know Sheffield will be bringing a few with them and we want to send them home empty handed.
"Sheffield are a good side but so are we. They are making all the right noises but so are we. Let's see what the weekend brings."
