LEICESTER’S impressive National League team are back home at the Paul Chapman and Sons Arena tonight against Plymouth (7.30).
The busy month of racing in July at the Beaumont Park venue continues with the Roger Webster Lion Cubs looking to continue their assault towards the play-offs in their first season.
Plymouth, however, include some experienced riders in former Sheffield man Ben Wilson and Luke Chessell, who has just made a return to the sport after a month on the sidelines.
Leicester co-promoter Neil Machin said: “This busy spell is demanding for the riders and their mechanics, but having said that track time and racing on various tracks is the best way to learn and develop.
“I expect a good meeting tonight and it would be good to see some youngsters here with the schools now having broken up for the summer break.
“Ben Wilson is a rider I have seen develop through the years and I expect him to be the man to beat – but our riders will be determined to claim more league points.”
