BOTH of Leicester’s successful speedway teams will be in action in a Saturday night double.
In a treat for fans, the table-topping Watling JCB Lions face title rivals Glasgow in Championship action at 6.30 before National League youngsters the Roger Webster Lion Cubs face Cradley Heath.
That means 30 races of spectacular action for fans to enjoy with both teams determined to notch wins.
Leicester co-promoter Neil Machin said: “This has been such an exciting season for both our teams and we need to shout from the rooftops about it.
“Glasgow will come here fired up and ready for a good old battle and I expect close competitive racing. It could be one of the meetings of the season at the Paul Chapman and Sons Arena.
“Cradley Heath, who race their home meetings at Wolverhampton, still enjoy buoyant support and I know their fans are just as passionate as Glasgow. When you look at the three clubs concerned – Glasgow, Cradley Heath and Leicester, you have three of the proudest clubs in British Speedway all on one night.”
Admission prices for Saturday are as follows: £20 adults, £17 concessions, kids go free.
