LEICESTER have added improving youngster Tom Spencer to their National League line-up for 2020.
The 19-year-old is a graduate of the Development League and raced his first NL campaign with Cradley last year.
He moved out of the reserve berths during the season and achieved a creditable 3.80 average with the Heathens, who reached the play-offs before being eliminated in the semi-finals by the Roger Webster Lion Cubs.
Now he switches to the Paul Chapman & Sons Arena as they look to defend their league and KO Cup double, and will start in the main body of the team.
Spencer is the fifth confirmed signing as he joins fellow new Cubs Joe Lawlor and Danny Woodward, as well as returning duo Dan and Joe Thompson, with more news expected over the coming weeks.
