LEICESTER Speedway can now confirm they will host their press and practice session on Tuesday, March 31 at the Paul Chapman & Sons Arena.
All riders from both the Watling JCB Lions and Roger Webster Lion Cubs will be present with the media session expected to start at 5.30pm before gates open to supporters at 6.15pm.
Track action will commence shorty after with both sets of riders handed the opportunity to get some valuable track practice under their belts ahead of a busy start to the season.
Co-promoter Stewart Dickson said: “We realise that the Lion Cubs are at home on the Saturday before but we’ve planned it to work alongside our trip to Watling JCB earlier on the same day.
“All supporters are welcome to come along and see the new-look teams - all members of the promotion and team management will also be present.
“The riders will then be in the bar between 8.30-9.30 to meet fans ahead of another exciting season.”
The opening official fixture of the season takes place on Saturday, March 28 (7pm) when the Roger Webster Lion Cubs face Belle Vue in the National League.
Dickson’s Watling JCB Lions side face a Coventry select on Saturday, April 11 (7pm) before kick-starting their league campaign away at Kent on Wednesday, April 22.
