LEICESTER travel to Newcastle on Sunday (4pm) looking for their first away win of the Championship campaign.
The Diamonds have only raced one league match so far this season, a defeat at Scunthorpe, and have also gone out of the KO Cup to Edinburgh.
And there are already changes to their line-up with Steve Worrall guesting for injured No.1 Ben Barker, rider-replacement in operation for Adam Roynon who was hurt at Scunthorpe last week, and Jack Parkinson-Blackburn making his debut at reserve in place of Joe Alcock.
Watling JCB Lions boss Stewart Dickson has made a change to the riding order, switching Ryan Douglas to the No.3 position with skipper Kyle Howarth going to the No.5 berth.
Dickson said: “We are going there to try and get a win, and that’s the bottom line.
“They are strong in the reserve department with James Wright, which was something we used on Saturday to our advantage, and that will mean it might well be a tougher meeting for the twins.
“Bringing in Stevie Worrall does strengthen them, but I think being without Adam Roynon may hinder them because he’s been riding well and scored ten points in his last home match.
“We will need Nick (Morris) and Dougy to have better performances than on Saturday, which they know themselves, and they’re allowed what wasn’t even an off-night, it’s just the high standards they set!
“But we go there looking for points, and we’re looking forward to the meeting.”
