DESPITE the adverse weather this week, Leicester’s pre-season preparations have still received plenty of media attention.
The Watling JCB Lions were the subject of a special report on Thursday’s BBC East Midlands Today, with a crew having been in attendance at Press Day on Tuesday.

BBC Radio Leicester were also at the Pidcock Motorcycles Arena, Beaumont Park on Tuesday with their 6pm ‘Game Night’ show coming live from the venue.
Presenters spoke to riders and management from both the Lions and the Lion Cubs, as well as others involved in the club set-up.
