CONGRATULATIONS to Leicester Lion Cubs rider Ashton Boughen who has qualified for the British Under-21 Final.
In his first year in the competition, 15-year-old Ashton finished fourth in Sunday's qualifier at Workington with 11 points, to book a place at Glasgow on July 16.
The meeting was won by Sam Hagon with former Lion Cubs racer Ben Trigger second and Nathan Ablitt completing the top three.
Max Perry and Max James both scored five points as they picked up experience of the Northside circuit, but Vinnie Foord was forced to miss the meeting as he awaits news on the wrist injury he picked up on Saturday.
