WOLVERHAMPTON V LIONS, PREVIEW

The Lions new signing Davey Watt will make his debut at Wolverhampton on Monday following approval by the BSPA of Leicester’s revised line-up and he will take the place of the injured Sebastian Ulamek at number 5 in the team.

With the new points’ averages coming into effect on Monday there are no positional changes in the Paul Chapman and Sons Leicester team whereas for Wolverhampton Sam Masters and Mikkel Bech exchange places.

Last season Leicester picked up four match points from their two visits to the Monmore Stadium in the space of sixteen days; results that contributed towards their eventual move off the bottom of the Elite League table and into their final position of sixth.

Meanwhile the Wolves have started the current campaign in far better form having already won at Coventry and Swindon. “Last season’s results are now in the past and cannot be taken as a form guide as to what might happen on Monday. We have ridden well in two of our three away matches so far without reward and if we can repeat the same application as we did at Coventry and King’s Lynn then it won’t be too long before we pick up points on the road” said the Lions Team Manager Norrie Allan.
