LEICESTER Speedway bosses are gearing up for a night to remember at Beaumont Park.
The Watling JCB Lions face Swindon in a crucial Premiership clash this Monday, July 17.
And with admission slashed to £9.99 adults and Under 18s go free, a bumper crowd is expected in front of the BT Sport cameras.
Manager Jim Lynch says the exciting double swoop for Polish ace Pawel Przedpelski and British talent Kyle Newman should give their season fresh impetus after a tough opening half.
He said: “Our season starts on Monday. We should have a great crowd, it’s on the television, and I’m impressed with what BT Sport have done so far.
“I thought the presentation was excellent on Monday, and I have to say they did us a favour and a half with their mentions of the signing.”
Przedpelski will meet fans from 6pm – 6.30 for a signing and picture session and there’s face painting for the kids.
The racing starts at 7.30 and is expected to conclude around 9.20 with the Lions looking to launch their climb up the table.
Club co-owner Damien Bates will be a guest on BBC Leicester’s breakfast show on Monday morning to preview the meeting.
