LEICESTER Speedway have, with great reluctance, released manager Jim Lynch with immediate effect.
The Watling JCB Lions have taken their time to reach this decision after Jim worked tirelessly in difficult circumstances last season and, in many ways, deserves another opportunity.
Jim, a former Team GB national boss, has been a delight to work with and we sincerely hope he is handed another opportunity to work with riders.
However, at this time, with a revamped Watling JCB Lions side and a fresh approach at Beaumont Park we feel the time is right to make this change and a new appointment will be made over the next few days.
Leicester Speedway would like to place on record our sincere thanks for the excellent work Jim has done with us and we would like to make it clear he and his family are welcome to come along to Beaumont Park as our guests at any time they wish next season and going forward.
The club will be making no further comment until a successor is appointed.
