LEICESTER youngster Max Perry will undergo surgery at Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital on Wednesday after his horrific crash in the NDL Grand Final.
The 16-year-old has suffered a broken and dislocated right wrist, and a broken right ankle. Both injuries are in casts and both will be operated on. He is also suffering with bruised lungs.
Signs from a head scan also suggested a stroke; however, physical tests have shown that this was definitely not the case.
Naturally he will remain in hospital in Oxford for some days after his two operations.
We send our very best wishes to Max and his family after such a devastating end to the season, and thanks to everyone at Cowley who assisted on the night.
