LEICESTER Speedway stage their Open Day this Sunday (December 3) at the Pidcock Motorcycles Arena, Beaumont Park from midday-4pm.
Everyone is welcome to attend the event, with free entry, and it’s all systems go for action both on and off track, with plenty of club news to catch up on.
The Lions plan to make two rider announcements for the 2024 season and this is expected to take place from around 1pm, and we’ll also be updating you on some of our other plans going forward.
Track practice is scheduled to take place throughout the afternoon, and supporters are welcome to come to either of the pit gates where they will be taken on a pits tour.
2024 season tickets will be on sale in the corporate box (please bring ID), and this is also the place to visit to take a first look at the new Leicester logo for next season.
There will be various bikes on display with the opportunity to sit on them for photos – these are situated at the main entrance and the back of the grandstands. The ‘beat the starter’ competition will be set up by the start line, spectator side of the fence, with prizes available.
The Track Shop will be open for Christmas shopping, and you can also enter the raffle where prizes include 2023 pit boards, a pits tour for the first meeting of next season, Watling JCB toys and plenty more.
Food and drinks stalls will be open throughout the afternoon – so wrap up warm and come and join us!
